Let His name be lifted higher
Since 2017, Raise the Cross has traveled to the Mount Fuji summit. God has called us to raise the cross in the name of Jesus Christ at the highest ground over Japan. We climb and pray, proclaiming His wonderful Name and His Kingdom over the land of Japan.
The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace… over Japan.
About us

To proclaim the name of Jesus Christ over Japan through our annual prayer hike. To connect the body of Christ universally and cross-denominationally through Spirit filled prayer hike in one accord for the name of the Lord our God.
To glorify the Lord through our prayer, surrenderance, and love for Him and for one another. -
We believe in one God who is eternally living and true in three Persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe God is holy and full of love, and calls humanity to Himself through faith in the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe the Holy Bible as God’s breathed Word, without any error, and eternally standing with the all sufficient authority over heavens and the earth. We believe God is actively and unceasingly calling us to mature in the fullness of Christ Jesus.

We began our first prayer hike in 2017. Since then, believers across denominations and nationalities joined us for the sake of Christ our Lord. Each year, God is faithful to answer our prayers to bring His Kingdom over Japan, turning darkness to the light. God also deepens each participating individual’s faith in a very personal and unforgettable way.
